Scott Edward Darling
Scott is a second generation native Californian having been born in Los Angeles
in 1949. His family moved to Riverside in the early 50’s where
he has resided for the past 53 years.
He was educated in local schools and went to the University of Redlands,
where he earned a B.A. in Government. He then went on to U.S.C. Law School
earning a Doctorate
of Laws degree.
Passing the Bar Exam in 1976, he became a licensed attorney and joined an old established local law firm where he became a partner in 2 years. A few years later when he and some of the partners and associates left the old law firm, he became senior partner of the new law firm that they founded.
His law practice
now concentrates in estate planning and living trusts.
He has appeared as a legal and political commentator
on local radio and TV. He has also taught business law and other legal courses
at local
colleges and presented numerous seminars
on estate planning and living trusts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Darling has been active in numerous, state,
local and national civic and political organizations, holding state and
local offices
in many of those organizations.
Darling, is married, has 4 adult children, and currently resides in Riverside,
California with his wife.
